Job Description:

Provide project management and develop educational resources to assure that families who are scheduled to receive or are receiving care from Seattle Children’s receive comprehensive, easily accessible, simple information that helps them successfully navigate their hospital stay or clinic visit and facilitates the best possible experience.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Health Education or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of communication strategies
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Communications, Health Education or related field
• Experience in a health care field or non-profit organization
• Experience writing print and on-line communications for multiple vehicles and tactics
• Experience applying editorial and graphic standards
• Bilingual skills
